Alabama Pecan Pie

Alabama pecan pie
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter melted
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
¾ cup pecan halves
Combine sugar and flour in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs, syrup and butter; beat well. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Arrange pecan halves on top of pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until set.
Yield: 1 9 inch pie
