Cabbage Beef Rolls

Cabbage beef rolls
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
¾ cup breadcrumbs
⅓ cup chopped onions
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoons paprika
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce, divided
8 large cabbage leaves
¼ cup water
Combine first 7 ingredients; add ½ cup tomato sauce. Mix well, and set aside.
Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes; drain. Place about ⅓ cup meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Fold the end of each cabbage leaf over; roll up, and secure with wooden picks.
Place cabbage rolls in a large skillet. Combine remaining tomato sauce and water; pour over cabbage rolls to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. To serve, remove cabbage rolls to a serving platter; discard liquid.
Yield: 4 servings
