Fresh Peach Crisp

 ½ cup quick cook rolled oats


½ cup packed brown sugar


¼ cup flour


½ teaspoon ground cinnamon


Dash salt


¼ cup butter


5 cups peaches, peeled pitted, and sliced


Vanilla ice cream, light cream or whipped cream



In a mixing bowl combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly. Pieces of butter should be the size of coarse crumbs. Set aside. Place fruit in a 10 X 6 X 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the mixture over the fruit. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes or till fruit tests are done with a fork. Serve warm with ice cream, light cream or whipped cream.



NOTE:


You can use different types of fruit like pears, apples, berries, etc.
