 Fried breakfast bacon with milk gravy


6 slices bacon

1 tablespoon flour

2/3 cup milk

1/8 teaspoon pepper


Cook bacon in a heavy skillet until crisp: remove bacon, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. Drain bacon on paper towels; set aside. 


Add flour to pan drippings in skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until flour browns. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in pepper. Serve hot gravy with bacon. Yield: 2 servings
