Homemade Noodles

Homemade noodles
1 egg
2 tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
In a mixing bowl beat the egg; stir in milk and salt. Add enough of the flour to make a very stiff dough; turn out on a floured surface. Roll dough very thin. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes. Roll up dough loosely. Cut into ¼ inch wide slices; unroll and cut into desired lengths. Spread out cut dough; let dry for 2 hours. Place in a covered container and store until needed.
To cook, drop noodles into a large amount of boiling salted water or broth; cook, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes. Make 3 cups of uncooked or cooked noodles.
NOTE
This is the basic noodle recipe that can be used in ravioli or many other pastas.
