Hot Sweet Mustard

Hot sweet mustard
¼ cup dry mustard
2/3 cup water, divided
¼ cup sugar
1½ tablespoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup vinegar
Combine mustard and 1/3 cup water in a small mixing bowl; stir until smooth. Set aside.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a small saucepan. Gradually add remaining water, stirring until well blended. Add vinegar; stir well. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; set aside to cool. Add reserved mustard mixture; stir well. Serve over baked ham or on sandwiches. Yield: 1 cup.
