John's Cabbage Au Gratin

John’s cabbage au gratin
9 pounds cabbage, sliced
4 gallons boiling water
½ cup salt
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 pound american cheese grated
4 ounces bread crumbs
½ cup butter melted
Add cabbage to boiling water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes, drain. Combine soup, and cheese; heat until cheese melts. Mix in cabbage, turn into 2 baking pans 18 X 22. Top with melted butter mixed with bread crumbs. ba
Ke at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
