Oriental Snow Pea Stir fry

Oriental snow pea stir-fry
1 teaspoon cornstarch
¼ cup chicken broth
Vegetable cooking spray
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 cups fresh snow peas
1 (8 ounce) can sliced bamboo shoots, drained
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts
Combine cornstarch and chicken broth, missing well; set aside.
Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over low heat until hot. Add garlic to skillet; saute until garlic is lightly browned. Add soy sauce, snow peas, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts; stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute.
Reduce heat to medium; add chicken broth mixture, stirring well. Bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly about 1 minute or until sauce is thickened. Yield: 4 servings.
