 Pecan Coffee Cake


3 cup biscuit mix 

¼ cup sugar

½ cup milk

¼ cup butter melted

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese softened

½ cup sugar

2 eggs

12 teaspoon vanilla

14 teaspoon butter flavoring

Brown sugar glaze

Pecan halves


Combine first 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl; stir vigorously until blended. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 4 or 5 times. Press into the bottom and up sides of an ungreased 9 inch round cake pan. 


Cream cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter flavoring in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Pour mixture over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Spoon brown sugar glaze over top, and arrange pecan halves over the edge of glaze. Serve warm or at room temperature.
