Rich Brown Gravy

Rich brown gravy
3 tablespoons pan drippings from roast
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
¼ teaspoon pepper
Heat drippings in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add flour; stir until smooth. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add beef broth; cook over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in pepper. Serve hot with on-baked dressing. Yield: 1½ cups
