Seven Minute Frosting

1½ cups sugar
2 egg whites
2 teaspoon light corn syrup or ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
Dash salt
1/3 cup cold water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place over boiling water (water in the bottom of the double boiler should not touch the top pan). Beating constantly with a mixer, cook about 7 minutes or till frosting forms still peaks.
