 Wayside inn pecan pie



2 tablespoons butter soften


½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar


1 cup maple syrup


1 tablespoon vanilla extract


3 eggs, beaten


2 cups coarsely chopped pecans


1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell



Combine butter, sugar, syrup, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Add eggs, and beat well. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until set.



Yield: one 9 inch pie
