Launa's Rolls (aka Bryan's Rolls)
Launa's Rolls 1/4 c warm water (to touch) 3/4 c milk 1/4 c butter or margarine 1/4 c sugar 2 3/4 c flour 1 egg 1 tsp salt 1 T yeast Microwave water, milk, butter, sugar for one minute (until the butter just starts to melt). In mixer, add half flour, egg, yeast, and salt to microwaved mixture. Mix until combined. Add remaining flour and knead on high setting on mixer for 11 minutes. Dough should be concentrated into a slightly sticky ball. Preheat oven to warm. Roll out dough and cut into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a roll. Allow rolls to rise in warm oven for 10 minutes. Leave rolls in oven and warm oven to 375 F for 15 more minutes. Top with melted butter as soon as the rolls come out of the oven.
